Robert Jweinat

Robert Jweinat specializes in corporate formation and governance, immigration, and estate planning. Known as a trusted problem solver and dynamic deal architect, Robert’s clients rely on his strategic counsel and ability to navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and foresight.

Robert began his legal career at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he clerked in the Fraud and Corruption Division investigating cyber and white-collar crimes. Returning to his hometown of San Francisco, he joined the Public Defender’s Office, where he clerked on a wide range of complex felony and misdemeanor cases. With the rise of the dot-com resurgence, Robert shifted to the private sector, clerking with law firms in Silicon Valley on corporate formation and investment management for early-stage technology startups. It was there that he developed his passion for innovation and supporting entrepreneurs.

Robert pivoted his career into a strategic leadership role focused on revenue growth and client engagement, working with some of the most innovative companies in the tech ecosystem—including AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Epsagon (each acquired by Cisco), and Instana (acquired by IBM). He continues to advise and mentor early- and growth-stage technology startups across industries, and currently serves as an advisor to several high-growth companies, including Steadybit, a resilience and reliability engineering platform. Today, Robert provides both legal and strategic counsel to founders and investors, guiding companies from formation through scale. His expertise includes entity formation, corporate governance, venture financings, M&A, strategic partnerships, licensing, and other mission-critical transactions. As a startup founder and angel investor himself, Robert aligns closely with tech entrepreneurs—offering practical insight on market segmentation, go-to-market execution, and peer-to-peer growth networks.

In addition to his legal and entrepreneurial work, Robert was elected to public office in November 2024 and proudly took the oath of office as a Council Member for the City of San Ramon on December 10, 2024. As a public servant, Robert brings his legal expertise and business acumen to local government, helping shape the future of his community through innovation, policy, and civic leadership.

Robert is admitted to practice law in California, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
